(NEW YORK) Louis Vuitton is preparing for a major launch of a new accessory line, Fashion Week Daily has learned. Monogramouflage, as it is expected to be called, will combine the iconic French brand's monogram canvas with a new camouflage print designed by Takashi Murakami and Marc Jacobs. Vuitton brass will unveil the new collection on June 1 at a pop-up shop that will open at the Brooklyn Museum of Art (similar to the one at the MOCA in Los Angeles), following the "Brooklyn Ball" gala on April 3 heralding the East Coast Murakami retrospective. The products will then be sold at Vuitton stores worldwide starting June 15. THE bag is the new hat. That was confirmed on a trip to Paris, where plenty of men had traded in their fur trappers, watch caps and beanies for handsome leather carryalls. There was nothing timid about those bags. Weighty and capacious, they nudged aside the canvas backpack as a totem of hipster chic. Some were purely practical, large enough to transport documents, spare sneakers or, if need be, the contents of one’s medicine chest. Others conveyed heaps of status.
Wise to the power of a high-fashion label, Marcin Tyszka carried an envelope clutch by Louis Vuitton. Thomas Kirchgrabner showed off a fringed satchel by Miu Miu. Nicolas Cisa toted Gucci, while Jonathan Huguet made an aggressive statement, swinging a large leather messenger bag from Yves Saint Laurent. Yes, it’s a man thing.

In search of a perfect slouchy shoulder bag

My ideal slouchy medium shoulder bag is this gorgeous Chanel that is made popular by Mary Kate Olsen which is later called by the olsen twins bag by some people in purse forum.
But because of the high attention and mention on forums, the price of this discontinued bag increased on ebay or other consignment shops. And i refused to pay top dollars for a "hype" bag.

And then out of the blue, i suddenly saw this cute slouchy medium shoulder bag at a vintage shop. Well, it's not exactly perfect, it missing the cute chain detail shoulder strap. But IMO it has the same characteristic of the bag that i want and i love it. The leather is very soft and the square metal attached on the back of the bag makes the bag kinda fold down when hanged.
