This Chanel Spring Summer 08 bag is seen carried by Lily Allen, this bag said to be cost $4650 yikes... although it's pretty, the price is too sky high as the stars to me :p

Ok, so this in NOT, i repeat, NOT the official name of this bag LOL
But this is what it's called anyway on bag forums, so i just adopt the name.
Maybe you're asking why oh why did she post this bag over and over again... LOL
but i just couldn't help it, i want to share all knowledge i gathered to you all :)
OK, basically all i know is that there's 2 size of this bag.
the large one is 13.7" W x 8.6" H x 4" D (approx.)
and the smaller one like my teal one is 12"W x 7.5"H x 3.5"D ; 19.5" chain strap (approx.)
and that the retails price is 1200$ (I don't know for which size) and that it was produced in late 2002 (as seen on the sticker inside the pocket, mine was dated 2002.10.19)
and that there's 3 colours available (or i know so far :p) which is all black, duo-tone black and mushroom, and teal)

OK, I have said that i refused to pay top dollar for this bag on my 1st post of the series but i finally bought this one. I paid a bit over the retail of this 2002 Chanel bag, but it was still a normal price and still within my range and one thing for sure, i don't pay in "ebay rate" which can be over 2K.
And when i got this bag on my hand, i LOVE it immediately. i love the softness of the leather and the slouchy-ness it comes with.
Although it's kinda smaller than my usual taste, but i already have loads of big bags and this is a perfect additional for me.
With no further ado, i present you the bag :)
size : 12"W x 7.5"H x 3.5"D ; 19.5" chain strap (approx.)
retail price in 2002 : $1200

In search of this "perfect" bag i stumble upon yet another Chanel bag, it's the Soft and Chain flap.
The first time i saw this bag was the blue one from a catalogue and i posted it here on title miscellaneous Chanel.
The latest price i know is 2125$ and 1850$ in 2 sizes available.
At first on the ad, i already fell in love. But when i saw it carried by jessica alba, i can definitely see the slouchy-ness and fell more in love (I cropped down her face because i don't like her :p)
The only thing that becomes my consideration is the chain handles. It looks pretty, but I don't think it could stay on my shoulder comfortably all day.
And i don't prefer to have my shoulder gets red when i took the bag off :p
so, is it perfect? Hmmm... definitely not yet.

LOUIS VUITTON "Murakami Limited Edition at BMA, NY"

(NEW YORK) Louis Vuitton is preparing for a major launch of a new accessory line, Fashion Week Daily has learned. Monogramouflage, as it is expected to be called, will combine the iconic French brand's monogram canvas with a new camouflage print designed by Takashi Murakami and Marc Jacobs. Vuitton brass will unveil the new collection on June 1 at a pop-up shop that will open at the Brooklyn Museum of Art (similar to the one at the MOCA in Los Angeles), following the "Brooklyn Ball" gala on April 3 heralding the East Coast Murakami retrospective. The products will then be sold at Vuitton stores worldwide starting June 15. Vuitton is a sponsor of the event (which is said to feature a performance by Jay-Z), and sales from the special museum store that night will benefit the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation. The Murakami exhibit will be open to the public from April 5 to July 3.
