Multi-Zipper bags "Louis Vuitton vs D&G"

at first sight on my computer screen, i didn't know what to decide.
do i like them or not?
but i tried the LV jokes one and fell deeply in love, the multi-zipper ideas that looks stupid at first became a practical idea. i love how the bag have separate compartments.
the D&G lily share the same idea, but with longer handle strap and more separate compartments which kinda overwhelmed IMO.

so, here's my opinion on both bags.

there's 2 size spotted on the spring 2009 runway show, but until this post published, only seen the smaller one in the website and the store. love both sizes, the small one is cute and the big one is amazing. both have good size proportions IMO
created by collaboration with Richard Prince, i love the fading effect. the 2 compartments are perfect too to separate personal and work stuffs.
the exotic skin trimming add extra value and make this bag richer.
the shape are unique, it's like the classic speedy.

made from all leather, and a whole lot of top zippers, although there's 5 zippers, the middle 3 open up to a same compartment, so there's only 3 separate compartments.
what i love about this bag is the leather, looks very yummy. but the proportion of the bag seems not right to me, and the top zippers are overwhelmed and not in a good way, especially when carried, it droops and REALLY droops. me no like it :(

Hermès Haut à Courroies (HAC)

i'm not too informative about Hermès, but i try to dig up some info to share here.
please welcome to correct me if i'm wrong or comment some info that haven't posted here.

Leathers information (source : lilach from PF)
togo - grained leather, holds its shape quite well a bit stiff not very scratch prone a little glow
clemence - more matte then togo a flatter grained very buttery soft so it slouches more (it looks a bit like ironed togo)
epsom - stiff textured leather (kind to be compared to vuitton taiga) has a wonderful sheen to it but to some it appears plasticy colours are way darker on this leather very scratch resistant
fjord - very heavy bull leather very textured but also sturd and nearly waterproof it looks a bit masculine
chevre de coromandel - goat leather with a shiny finish very exotic looking due to the spine soft lightweight scratch resistant durable
chevre mysore - a more matte goat leather where the spine is less durable
box - classic shiny box calf leather prone to scratches but ages wonderfully and gets a gorgeous patina very classic looking
chamonix - a variation of box leather but matte looking
Barenia - a classic saddle calf leather
ostrich - the lightest leather of them all very durable no problem with water get softer while the years go by but still holds its shape no problem with water ages wonderfully
lizard - a very exotic looking leather if ordered in glazed it sparkles like diamond encrusted due to the small scales. can not handle water at all ages well but there is the possibility that the scales lift so take good care of it
porosus croc - the queen of the crocs very even and small scale pattern can not handle water well due to the glazing but really makes colours pop ages but colours appear darker on it ages gracefully
niloticus croc - a more "wild" looking croc scale pattern colours tend to look really vibrant on it a tad cheaper than porosus and it is just a personal taste thing which croc pattern you love more

Hermès Haut à Courroies means High Belts in French. This bag also called the old birkin, it's slightly taller with shorter straps.
The Haut à Courroies, or HAC, was designed in the late 1800’s for the purpose of transporting riding gear: saddle, boots, hunting equipment, etc. It is the predecessor to the much younger Hermès Birkin. The HAC is taller than the Birkin, and has shorter straps. The price for a HAC is essentially identical to the Birkin, starting from about $8,000, depending on features such as hide and hardware.

Balenciaga Ciclamino

as by request from fellow blogger, tabloidtalk, i'm posting this certain balenciaga bag, the magenta aka ciclamino.
this colour is not easy to capture by camera, a slight change of lighting source will make so much difference.
i used to own the '05 in city, and i know how hard it is to get the colour right with a camera. so i'm going to post few pictures.
the leather on '05 balenciaga are good IMO, although i still prefer the '04 or older. the magenta leathers are thick and pretty shiny to me, that is one of the reason i let this bag go. shiny is just not my thing.

first, these 2 pictures are comparison colour on the left, magenta '05 aka ciclamino and the right, magenta '08.
the '05 is very bright, it really POPS... it's somehow like the colour of the cartoon character Barney.
The '08 are "softer" in comparison.

i love this bag, although the price is quite high for a seasonal bag, $2750 & $1995, but i think it's worthed if you can afford it. it'll be a classic in time.
