i hope the multicolore canvas would be slouchier too like how the monogram canvas on the stephen is slouchier than the regular canvas
the studs really caught my heart

Louis Vuitton "Mono Stephen" from fall/winter 2006

one sentence i can write about this bag :
it's a speedy... with so much more

so, okay i know it's an old bag but i fell in love with this bag just recently and when i fell, i fell hard :p
it took me some times to decide to get this bag, i need to know for sure this is what i really want. and when it's in my head for weeks, then i know that this is the one, it's not just a random act of craziness i have on bags. this is real.
and OMG it felt so good, i REALLY love this bag
it's like an answer to many of my needs.
first of all, i love the speedy-like shape, and i love how the monogram canvas is slouchier than the regular monogram canvas, i love how the canvas pleats in the middle so the shape is slouchier than ever, i love how the handle is longer than the usual speedy so it fits nicely on my shoulder, i love how the shoulder strap with tortoise chain make the bag to be worn sling, i love the size that is more or less the same with the speedy 35, i love how the zipper opening is wider than the speedy.
it was retails about 2,070$ when it first came out
so here are the picture of the beauty, compared with the speedy wc 35

Takashi Murakami and Louis Vuitton "Superflat the new odyssey"

i've been a long fans of Takashi Murakami's art before he joins LV.
and when for the first time i heard about the collaboration i was like WHATTT? i can't miss this! i've got to have one of them because to me it's affordable unlike his art prints.
for the first time ever, i purchased a Louis Vuitton.
ever since then i've been liking some more and more and more, so yeah, Murakami was like the gate between me and Louis Vuitton because if it wasn't for his first ever multicolore collection, i won't even look at the brand

: from www.louisvuitton.com
The first collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami dates back to the season of spring-summer 2003, when Marc Jacobs invited him to participate in Louis Vuitton's new collection after being captivated by the artist's explosive works.
Since then, Murakami has reinterpreted the Monogram canvas in a unique and avant-garde manner. The classic motive became multicolor and was developed in three versions: in thirty-three colors on a black or white background for a relooked classic; Monogram canvas decorated with a floral design for the "Monogram Cherry Blossom"; or in a ninety-three colors with a new motif, the eye, for the "Eye Love Monogram". The unique Pop Art design that Murakami added to the Monogram became a success worldwide.
Six years after his first collaboration with Louis Vuitton, Takashi Murakami has created a new film animation, SUPERFLAT FIRST LOVE, celebrating the new small leather goods in Monogram Multicolore which is the sequel to the SUPERFLAT MONOGRAM created in 2003

SUPERFLAT FIRST LOVE

ABOUT THE VIDEO
: from www.louisvuitton.com
6 years after she was swallowed up by a Panda Géant who appeared in Omotesando, and was taken into louis Vuitton's Multicolor Monogram world, Aya is now a middle school student. she has recently working as a priestess in a Shinto shrine.

Ever since that fateful day 6 years ago, Aya has walked by the Louis Vuitton boutique in Omotesando numerous times, searching for the gates that would once again take her into a world of fantasy. but she hasn't seen Panda Géant since. she can't find the picture she took with her mobile phone, and often, she tells herself that it may have all been a dream...

She forgets everything that happened, but one day, as she walks past the Louis Vuitton store on Omotesando Avenue, she sees a small and cute creature, just like she had one seen on that fateful day.
As the Petit Panda shyly glances her way she can't help but to take it in her arms and once again, Aya is swallowed by the panda.

She recognizes the world she is taken to.
It's the Multicolor Monogram world she went to 6 years ago, and just as she is telling herself that it wasn't just a dream after all, Wham! The Panda Géant from 6 years ago walks right into her...
And all the Flower Hatmen are there too!

But this world seems even stranger than the one she saw 6 years ago!
That's right! This world evolves day by day, building wormholes to other worlds, and even managing to build one in the valleys that divide time itself.

And... for some reason... they are in Paris...

1897, the Louis Vuitton workshop. Gaston-Louis Vuitton, 14 years old, is the third to take over the family business.
The monogram print designed by his forbearers was a huge success, and he is busy learning the ropes to uphold his father's wishes.

And then, boom! Aya suddenly springs out of the trunk that the two pandas made.

"Who are you?" "How about you..." Aya is 14. So is Gaston.
Right before her eyes, Aya sees a cute Parisian boy.
Gasto's cheeks redden. he has fallen head over heels in love with Aya!
What will happen to their young love???
